Martog Darkwhisper
A terrifying Uz priestess of Xiola Umbar, Martog owns the
deepest cellars in Voranel. Her mazelike lair is filled with
mysterious magical artefacts she has hoarded. Though childless,
she is constantly attended by a varying assortment of spirits and
creatures under her protection. Especially beloved by beings of
darkness, no secret is safe from her nocturnal spies. Many among
the Odranging have reason to be grateful for her healing arts.
Even Vornathendra, the Queen, is beholden to her for past favors.
She hates the Alkothi, their god, and their blasphemous city for
its pathetic mockery of hell. She can summon shadows to hide her
friends, or demons of darkness to frighten her foes.
