The classes listed are all held at the Phinney Neighborhood Center in Seattle, Washington. You may register by:
Refunds: A full refund will be given for all cancelled classes. No refunds or make up classes will be given for absences. All refunds or withdrawal requests must be submitted to the PNA at least one week prior to the class. A $5 handling fee will be retained for each class dropped. Please allow two weeks for refund processing.

Voluntary Simplicity has been described as pursuing a lifestyle which is
outwardly simple but inwardly rich. In this introductory workshop, you will
explore ways to cut back on consumerism and the "speed-up" pace of modern
life, while living lightly and contributing less to the negative impact on the environment. Includes information on study circles for support and action. Cecile Andrews is the author of Circle of Simplicity: Return to the Good Life, HarperCollins, 1997.

People today often experience their lives as lacking vitality or direction and are looking for the experience of aliveness and depth. Too often people's spirits have been broken, their uniqueness suppressed. Through reflection, people can discover their own particular passion, something they love to do and that brings them a sense of purpose, joy and fulfillment. We will explore ways you can also earn money from your passion. Instructor is author Cecile Andrews.

Kids of all ages will enjoy stories and songs celebrating the earth. Maggie
Mahoney will share stories collected from Native American, Celtic and other
traditions as well as join Jan Novotka in singing - you join in! Maggie is a science teacher, outdoor educator, as well as a storyteller. Jan is a theology teacher, counselor, singer and songwriter. This concert will be held in the Community Hall, building B.

Voluntary Simplicity Study Circles are a popular way to get started on
simplifying your lifestyle. Find out how to get one organized in your
neighborhood. Circles of six to ten people meet in individual homes and read and discuss materials about overconsumption, while supporting one another in making lifestyle changes. Includes information about resource materials.
